Audio Graffiti can now offer you a speech transcription service. Perhaps you record interviews for research purposes, as part of an investigation or legal process, or in relation to other work you do. Maybe you record speeches or lectures. It can be tedious producing a transcript from recordings. Audio Graffiti can do it for you!
Our speech transcriber has considerable experience in transcribing research interviews, and prides herself on attention to detail. All you need to do is provide us with the recording as an MP3 or WAV file, provide any special instructions for the format of transcript, and she'll do the rest.
At present, our transcription service is limited to recordings in English.
When we have finished transcribing the speech, you will receive an MS Word file via email. We can also send you a printed copy with a CD if you prefer. Ordering is a simple as sending us an MP3 or WAV of the interview, lecture or speech, either by email or mail. We will provide you with a quote for the cost of the job based on its length and the clarity of the recording.
We begin work on your transcription when you accept the quote and formalise your order. When the work is complete, we will notify you so you can pay the balance. We will then send you a draft copy for you to check. You will have the opportunity to make corrections or comment on the overall layout. When you are happy with the draft we will produce the final version and send it to you via mail or email.
Our standard rate for speech transcription is based loosly on $20 AU per minute of recorded speech. However, this might vary from job to job depending on the bature if the speech to be transcribed. For example, we may reduce the cost if there are long periods of silence, or we may charge slightly more if the speech is hard to hear.
