Copyist, Engraving & Publishing Services
Audio Graffiti has many years of experience in providing music engraving services. We can provide services as a traditional copyist and much more. We can assist professional arrangers and composers by doing the hack-work of putting music into print or electronic formats. We can help semi-professional musicians and hobbyists publish song books and sheet music of their own compositions. Here is a short list of some of the kinds of work we can do:
- Full scores & parts
- Song books
- Sheet music
- Chord charts
- Lead sheets
- Piano-vocal adaptations
- Exercise sheets for classroom and private teachers
- Student workbooks and workshop courseware
- Examination papers
- Instructional booklets
- Books about music
- Music graphics and examples for books, magazines and web sites
- Just about anything requiring music notation
While many people know how to use music notation programs like Sibelius and Finale to a basic level, not everyone understands the importance of careful layout or the idiosyncrasies of notating for different instruments. But we do.
While we have our own default “house style” for published music, we can accommodate all your special requests.
Presented with a tattered old copy to work from, we restored this out-of-print publication.
Imagine (PDF, 114 kb)
This is an adaption of Imagine by John Lennon arranged for solo guitar. The arrangement is inspired heavily by Tommy Emmanuel’s stunning version of the song. This sample includes guitar tablature.

Theme from Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence – Piano (PDF, 101 kb)
Theme from Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence – Violin (PDF, 64 kb)
Theme from Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence – Cello (PDF, 67 kb)
This beautiful piece of music does not appear to have ever been published commercially. We transcribed all parts.
Joy to the World (PDF, 154 kb)
This is an arrangement of a popular Christmas Carol, and is based loosely on an arrangement we prepared for a local Carols by Candle Light event.

This is a brief demonstration of how we can assist you in laying out an instructional music book.
Standard manuscript copying is currently charged at these rates:
- Single instrument (per page or part thereof), $20 AUD

- Three-stave piano-vocal (per page or part thereof), $35 AUD

How to order
Ordering is a simple as sending us a copy of your music, either by email, fax or mail. We will provide you with a quote for the cost of the job based on its size, note density, complexity and any special requirements.
We will begin work on your music when you accept the quote and formally place your order by paying the appropriate fee. When the work is complete, we will then send a draft copy for you to check. You will have the opportunity to make corrections or comment on the overall layout. If anything isn’t perfect, we’ll make the necessary corrections and send you a new draft. The files we send will be high resolution PDF, but we can provide hard copies on request.
For projects like song books, books, brochures and booklets, we can also assist you in doing the page layout work, or help you find a graphics designer for cover art work or illustrations. We can also arrange for high-volume printing if you require it.
For more details on placing an order, see our How to order page.
