Copyist, Engraving & Publishing Services

Audio Graffiti has many years of experience in providing music engraving services. We can provide services as a traditional copyist and much more. We can assist professional arrangers and composers by doing the hack-work of putting music into print or electronic formats. We can help semi-professional musicians and hobbyists publish song books and sheet music of their own compositions. Here is a short list of some of the kinds of work we can do:

  • Full scores & parts
  • Song books
  • Sheet music
  • Chord charts
  • Lead sheets
  • Piano-vocal adaptations
  • Exercise sheets for classroom and private teachers
  • Student workbooks and workshop courseware
  • Examination papers
  • Instructional booklets
  • Books about music
  • Music graphics and examples for books, magazines and web sites
  • Just about anything requiring music notation

While many people know how to use music notation programs like Sibelius and Finale to a basic level, not everyone understands the importance of careful layout or the idiosyncrasies of notating for different instruments. But we do.

While we have our own default “house style” for published music, we can accommodate all your special requests.

How to order

Ordering is a simple as sending us a copy of your music, either by email, fax or mail. We will provide you with a quote for the cost of the job based on its size, note density, complexity and any special requirements.

We will begin work on your music when you accept the quote and formally place your order by paying the appropriate fee. When the work is complete, we will then send a draft copy for you to check. You will have the opportunity to make corrections or comment on the overall layout. If anything isn’t perfect, we’ll make the necessary corrections and send you a new draft. The files we send will be high resolution PDF, but we can provide hard copies on request.

For projects like song books, books, brochures and booklets, we can also assist you in doing the page layout work, or help you find a graphics designer for cover art work or illustrations. We can also arrange for high-volume printing if you require it.

For more details on placing an order, see our How to order page.
